Location

Workrise is now hiring for Stick Welders to work on a utility-scale solar farm in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Pay: $25/hr
Per diem: $80/per day worked

Job Responsibilities

Set-up and performs welds of moderate difficulties from blueprints and/or specifications.
Conducting daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions
Basic problem-solving techniques and troubleshooting as related to welding component parts.
Work area preparation clean up.
General cleanup and clearing of debris.
High regard for safety standards

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge of SMAW/GMAW (Stick and Mig Welding)
Able to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to blueprints.
Previous Solar Installation experience a plus
Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
Attention to detail.
Construction related experience.
Pass drug test and background check.
